Table Farm Summer Fellowship
Application for our summer fellowship program are now open! Apply here!
job description
We are looking for 6 high school students who want to make the world a more vibrant, thriving home for all.
Background on the Summer Fellowship
Table Farm is a social enterprise of The Table at Central United Methodist Church (UMC). For the fifth year in a row, we are excited to offer the Farm Fellowship this summer to any student entering grades 9-12.
Participants will explore themes related to environmental justice, sustainable agriculture, and land stewardship, all while growing as leaders and building meaningful connections through shared spiritual reflection practices.
Expectations
Applicants do not need to come from the Christian tradition to participate. However you understand or describe your spiritual journey, we invite you to show up just as you are with your unique identities, questions, doubts, and hopes. However, we do ask that all applicants are open to and interested in exploring spirituality in community as we wonder about our relationships to food, climate, land, and neighbor.
In alignment with The Table UMC’s non-discriminatory practices, we ask that fellows embrace The Table UMC’s commitment to radical inclusivity and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all who interact and engage with Table Farm. All are welcome at The Table and we affirm the idea that “All” truly Means All (Learn more here.)
