Speaker Series: Andrew Mcleod
Please join us on Saturday, March 28th at 5:00 PM for a fascinating talk by Andrew McLeod, a local historian and published author! Blending ecology and history, Andrew will help us understand how waterways, railroads, and land use decisions have shaped this particular region of Sacramento.
Free art Class at Table Farm
Throughout the month of April, we will be hosting a free art class at Table Farm! This will be an opportunity to explore the medium of painting. We will gather each Saturday from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. This class is open to participants of all ages, however, we ask that students be at least 7 years old.
This class will be led by Rod Larson-Swenson, a local painter. Rod finds excitement in color and texture. He believes art is a joyful discipline without rigid rules. It’s exciting, expressive, and full of possibility! As he says, “there are no mistakes in painting! When you make a mistake, the solution is simply more paint!”
Enrollment for this class is limited to 10 individuals. If the class fills up, please email, gather@thetableumc.org, to be added to the waitlist.
