a fellowship exploring sustainability as spiritual practice
In collaboration with SMUD and the United Methodist Committee on New and Vital Congregations funding, this paid, six-week fellowship (June 29-July 31, 2023) invites high school students to experience and wonder about sustainable agriculture, environmental justice, compost, bread baking, and flower making while growing in relationship with the land and with our neighbors.
Fellows will gather four days a week over the course of the fellowship to farm, bake, learn, reflect, and eat together. They will help distribute food to neighbors at the South Sacramento Interfaith Partnership Food Closet weekly.
Applications are now closed. Please check back in 2024!
